Selected papers and talks to which I made major personal contributions. The complete record, including LHCb Collaboration papers, is on INSPIRE-HEP.
Journal papers
-
JHEP 2026LHCb Collaboration
JHEP 03 (2026) 148
My role: led the analysis and built the full analysis chain as my PhD project. The paper introduces a new way to extract mW from unfolded differential cross-sections.
-
Comput. Softw. Big Sci. 2025
The LHCb Sprucing and Analysis Productions
A. Abdelmotteleb et al. · Comput. Softw. Big Sci. 9 (2025) 15
Documents LHCb’s centralised offline processing and analysis-production systems for Run 3. My role: tested and validated the Sprucing, LHCb’s central offline data-reduction stage, ahead of Run 3 data taking.
-
JINST 2024LHCb Collaboration
Curvature-bias corrections using a pseudomass method
JINST 19 (2024) P03010
A data-driven correction of momentum-scale biases, a key ingredient for precision electroweak measurements such as mW. My role: designed and implemented the calibration and data-processing code in C++.
-
Eur. Phys. J. C 2022
A new maximum-likelihood method for template fits
H. Dembinski & A. Abdelmotteleb · Eur. Phys. J. C 82 (2022) 1043
A fast approximate likelihood for fitting simulated templates, including weighted ones, to data, implemented in the iminuit fitting package. My role: verified the derivations, ran the coverage tests and contributed to the Python implementation.
